An assistant from the audience is asked to join you during your performance. You ask them to put their head in a polished formica cabinet that measures 14" by 14 1/2" by 11". Several colourful balloon "swords" are propelled through the cabinet from every imaginable angle. If the audience thinks this is baffling wait until you open the cabinet. When the front door is opened and wow - the head has vanished! Only the balloon swords are visible through the cabinet. You now close the door, remove the balloon swords an the persons head is restored. This is a great sword box without the violence of swords. Great for kid's parties as any assistant can be used.

A spectator is selected from the audience to act as an assistant to the magician. The magician draws attention to a black carpet being supported in mid air only by two, lone standing swords and a thing wooden base. The assistant is placed on top of the carpet and the wooden base is carefully removed, leaving the assistant balancing on top of the two swords. Two chairs are brought onto centre stage and unfolded, then positioned face to face. A flat wooden stretcher is rested on their backs with a blanket draped over it. The spectators head is put into the box And the front and back doors are put on. Daggers are then inserted into the box. The front cover is removed and the head has vanished, all you can see is the daggers. The front cover is put on and the daggers are now taken out and spectator is shown back to his seat unharmed. This is the classic Dagger Chest.

This is a culmination of thoughts and a linking of two classic effects to make one. This is how it goes.....
The magician requests assistance from a spectator and shows him a box with no front, back and the bottom partially missing. The spectators head is put into the box And the front and back doors are put on. Daggers are then inserted into the box. The front cover is removed and the head has vanished, all you can see is the daggers. The front cover is put on and the box is set alight at the top for a few seconds. The flame is now extinguished. The front door is removed again and a skull is visible in the box. The daggers are now taken out and spectator is shown back to his seat unharmed. This is the classic effect dagger chest and head cremation put together as a solo illusion to add a bit of excitement to your act.
